Sunday April 7th, Songkran - Thai New Year

Every April, Thai people around the world celebrate Songkran, the traditional Thai New Year. In Los Angeles, the city celebrates with the annual Hollywood Thai New Year (Songkran) Festival.
Held on a day in April, the Hollywood Thai New Year Festival features a wide range of activities and performance meant to help usher in the Thai New Year.

The Hollywood Thai New Year Festival takes place along Hollywood Boulevard between Western and Normandy in Los Angeles.

Foodies can fill up on Thai flavors while shoppers stock up on Thai goods and gifts. With a Miss Thai New Year USA pageant, appearances by Thai celebrities, and a colorful parade, there’s something for everyone at the Hollywood Thai New Year Festival.

Admission to the Hollywood Thai New Year Festival is free and all ages are welcome to take part.
